The Miss Universe Philippines beauty pageant just held its 2023 Fashion and Charity Gala at the Okada Manila Grand Ballroom tonight, May 10.
This is an evening that celebrates Filipino fashion through the Miss Universe Philippines delegates, with the official attire being "Modern Filipiniana."
Meanwhile, beneficiaries for the charity gala include Save the Children and Hope 4 Change.
"When crisis strikes and the children are most vulnerable, we are always among the first to respond and the last to leave. We ensure children's needs are met and their voices are heard," Save the Children director of advocacy, campaigns, communications, and media George De La Rama said.
Hope 4 Change was then introduced as a "non-profit humanitarian organization...dedicated to eradicating the effects of hunger, illiteracy, and disease."
VIPs who attended the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Fashion and Charity Gala include special guest Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel, Miss Universe Organization owner Anne Jakrajutatip, Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart, Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2017 Elizabeth Clenci, Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up Samantha Bernardo, Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold, and Mister International 4th runner-up MJ Ordillano.
