Selena Gomez denies dating The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart after rumors surface
Selena Gomez took to social media to shut down rumors that she is romantically linked to The Chainsmokers' Andrew "Drew" Taggart.
Speculations were ignited when a source confirmed to US Weekly that the two musical artists are dating, describing them as "very casual and low-key" but that they are still "having a lot of fun together."
However, Gomez, who was said to be "so affectionate" to Taggart that she "can hardly keep her hands off him," has denied any romantic ties with the 33-year-old DJ in a now-deleted story on her Instagram account.
In it, she posted a black-and-white picture with the caption "I like being alone too much." On the bottom part, the singer included the hashtag "#iamsingle" in very tiny letters.

Gomez's longest relationship was with her on-and-off ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber before they ultimately split in March 2018. The 30-year-old actress has also gotten involved with other notable musicians such as Zedd and The Weeknd.
As of late, it seems that romance has no room yet in her life as she is currently busying herself with the third season of her comedy-drama series Only Murders in the Building, where she will star with veteran actor Meryl Streep.
