That’s exactly the case for these local and international celebrities who “manifested” their future relationships on social media.
Fortune does favor the bold, as seen in their examples of now-thriving love lives.
Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde
Jul. 28 is the day to remember for Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde, who marked several milestones on this date.
Maine famously posted "Arjo cutie" on this fateful date in 2013, with the phrase later becoming a meme for one manifesting a desired outcome.
The two would eventually meet for the first time five years later on Jul. 28.
Then in 2022, the couple got engaged.
"My turn, I will marry you cutie," Arjo posted about his marriage proposal in reference to Maine's initial "Arjo cutie" post.
Maris Racal and Rico Blanco
"Tadhana'y medyo overrated kung minsan," Rico Blanco one sang. Yes, indeed.
As it turns out Maris Racal posted about her yearning for Rico four years before they sang a duet and confirmed their relationship to the public.
"Hay Rico Blanco when will I hear you sing live," Racal posted in August 2017.
She definitely got her answer!
Vickie Rushton and Jason Abalos
In this case, Vickie Rushton technically manifested "cutie bridal car" back in 2012.
She ended up getting her wish 10 years later, reuniting with the vintage bridal car years later for her own special day.
Rushton got more than what she bargained for, however, as she got to ride it along with the lucky man, Jason Abalos.
Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos
Khalil Ramos made it known that Gabbi Garcia has been fangirling over him since 2013.
"Omg [Gabbi] u love me na 2013 pa?!!?" Ramos posted in 2021, in reference to a post by Gabbi eight years prior.
"Why do I find Khalil cute whenever he's cheering for Julia," Garcia previously posted.
Now the celebrity couple gets to cheer for one another.
Khalil and Gabbi have starred in projects together like LSS and the music video of Ben&Ben's Araw-Araw.
Justin and Hailey Bieber
On the surface, Hailey Bieber's relationship with Justin looks right out of a Wattpad story. In fact, she used to tweet about Justin and his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez, whom she was both a fan of.
Eventually, Hailey's father, Stephen Baldwin, introduced his daughter to Justin as a longtime fan. That was true, as Hailey has been a Belieber since 2009.
Now she gets to live the fangirl dream married to Justin himself.
