Michelle Dee begins her training to join PH Air Force
Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee is out to conquer another milestone: to be a member of the Philippine Air Force.
On its social media pages. the Miss Universe Philippines Organization announced that the 28-year-old beauty queen has officially started training to join the Air Force.
“FOR THE PHILIPPINES,” they began in their Sept. 1 post. “Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Marquez Dee has officially entered training to be part of the Philippine Air Force.”
“She knows that it’s going to be very challenging, but it’s something she really wants to do for the country,” it added.
In the photos, Michelle is seen having a meeting with the military officers, as well as wearing a military camouflage cap.
“As Michelle Marquez Dee says, ‘Service first.’ We salute Michelle Marquez Dee's dedication to serve!” they concluded in the post.
Aside from this, the new Miss Universe Philippines queen also serves as a goodwill ambassador of Autism Society Philippines. She is also a vocal ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, especially since she confirmed to the public that she’s bisexual.
Michelle Dee was crowned the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 in May. She is set to raise the Philippine flag and attempt to bring home the country's fifth crown in the international competition to be held late in 2023 in El Salvador.
