Two-time Grammy award-winning artist Lil Nas X has always been outspoken with his hilarious views and commentaries on social media, and the 64th Grammy Awards was no exception.

The 22-year-old Old Town Road singer took to Twitter to chronicle the night's events, from preparing his tweets if he ever wins to ultimately being SZA's caretaker instead.

In 2020, Lil Nas X (real name Montero Lamar Hill) bagged two Grammy Awards: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video for “Old Town Road (Remix)” along with four other nominations.

For this year, the artist had five nominations for his debut album 'MONTERO': Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Music Video, Best Melodic Rap Performance, and Song of the Year.

In his first 2022 Grammys-related tweet,  Lil Nas X joked that he would be "resigning from the iluminati" if he leaves without a Grammy, alluding to the running reference that artists like him belong to the secret society.

In his next tweet, he shared a screenshot of his drafts where two tweets have already been prepared for whatever outcome the awards night may have.

One drafted tweet reads, "OMG I JUST GOT ANOTHER GRAMMY", while the other reads, "OMG THE GRAMMYS REALLY SNUBBED ME!"

As the night progressed and Lil Nas X's nominations dwindled, the artist was a good sport as he continued to joke about his award-less night. Instead of focusing on his losses, he instead shared some photos of his all-white bedazzled ensemble by Balmain.

"Lost all my grammies so far. let’s celebrate that!" he quipped.

Lil Nas X went on to share some fun selfies with fellow celebrities, such as SZA, Lady Gaga, and Doja Cat.

Finally, as the final winners were called, the artist drew the white flag and spent the night joking about losing all his nominations.

Eventually, he left the Grammys wheeling out Best Pop Duo winner SZA in a wheelchair. SZA attended the Grammys on crutches because of a lifting injury a few days prior.

Hey, despite everything, it still sounded like a fun night!
