TWICE is back and they are killing it! Not only did they drop the music video for their new track Talk that Talk, the girl group's mini album, Between 1&2, also surpassed 1 million copies in pre-orders.

The nine-piece group made their comeback on Aug. 26, but even before Friday, they set a new personal record with Between 1&2.

Their third studio album, Formula of Love: O+T=<3, which was released in November 2021, previously held their highest stock of pre-orders for an album to date with approximately 700,000 copies sold before release. Between 1&2 beat this record, with an increase of over 300,000 more pre-orders.

This record makes TWICE the third girl group in history to reach such figures, following BLACKPINK and aespa. Only four albums have surpassed 1 million stock pre-orders: Between 1&2, BLACKPINK's THE ALBUM and BORN PINK, and aespa's Girls.

Meanwhile, Talk that Talk has reached over 2 million views in the first 100 minutes of its premiere on YouTube. It's also the top trending topic on Twitter worldwide with over 456,000 tweets, as of writing.

The new music video features a retro Y2K vibe as the girls sing and dance to the upbeat tune about love and relationships.

"The music video is about TWICE members looking for codes and investigating the mission of confessing our love to our fans, ONCE," Dahyun told GRAMMY.com.

"Also, the lyrics of Talk that Talk are about trying to get the other person to say everything on his/her mind," added Jeongyeon.
