Vice Ganda further expressed her love and support for her husband, Ion Perez, as she shared how he constantly gets bullied on social media.

The comedian made the emotional revelation after the last group of “Magpasikat 2023,” composed of Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, and Ion Perez, gave a performance that focused on the negative effects of social media.

The trio portrayed different personas; Ion’s character was a waiter who went viral after being recorded having a heated argument with a customer, he later on got bashed and “canceled,” a scene resembling his real life.

Vice began expressing her sentiments by saying, “Araw-araw kasama ko ‘yan, ‘di ba? Alam ko kung gaano siya sinasaktan ng social media."

"Every day he’s being judged. Kung ano siya, saan siya galing, paano siya magsalita, ano na ang nakikita sa kanya, 'yung klase ng relasyon na meron siya,” she continued. "Everyday he’s being judged."

Vice went on to say that although all the backlash has been hurting her husband, they continue to stand firm on their truth, hand-in-hand.

“Araw-araw, lumalaban yan. Araw-araw nasasaktan,” the Fantastica star added. "Basta hindi ninyo alam kung anong epekto nito kay Ion at sa akin.”

“Ang alam ninyo lang, 'yung alam ninyo. Ang nakita ninyo lang, ang nakita ninyo, pero hindi ninyo talaga alam,” she lamented.

Vice then expressed her love and support for Ion, assuring she always got his back no matter what.

“Kaya araw-araw, ‘di ba, sabi ko sa yo, araw-araw mamahalin kita. Kakampihan kita araw-araw,” she said.

“Araw-araw, kakampihan kita araw-araw. Ipagdadasal kita araw-araw. Yayakapin kita araw-araw. Dadamayan kita araw-araw. Araw-araw, sasamahan kita,” she added.

"Mahal na mahal kita. Proud na proud ako sa yo. Proud na proud ako sa yo,” she concluded.

The two have constantly been subject to backlash since publicizing their relationship in 2019. Just recently, they faced one of their major challenges when MTRCB flagged their July “icing episode” during It's Showtime's "Isip Bata" segment as an "indecent act." This resulted to the 12-day suspension of the noontime show.

Vice and Ion first met in 2018 at her then-late-night show, Gandang Gabi Vice, where Ion visited after winning the Mr. Universe Tourism title. He later started his It’s Showtime stint in September of the same year.

After months of being linked together, the couple confirmed their relationship in October 2019. They officially tied the knot in February 2022 in Las Vegas.
