Kris Aquino postpones US flight for medical treatments due to high blood pressure

Following doctors’ orders, Kris Aquino had to reschedule her medical flight to a later date due to high blood pressure.

The Queen of All Media shared the news in a comment on her good friend, philanthropist Angel Locsin’s Instagram post on Tuesday, May 3. “Gel, ikaw kasi, last night sinabi mo na ‘sana hindi ka pa makatuloy, Ate…’ I said, ‘Gel please don’t be mean, you know kailangan na talaga” then you said: ‘sorry Ate, selfish ako, di pa ko ready mag let go,’” she began.

“Grabe your gift of I don’t know if premonition or pang-awat, true enough nasa airport na si kuya josh, bimb, and Rochelle. My doctors didn’t clear me to travel 140/92 waking BP, 136/93 pa rin until now… hindi ko kakayanin yung long haul flight,” continued Kris.

“Nag asthma attack last night, more than 6 weeks of chronic sinusitis, na lang sobra sobra ang pagka bilib at pag love ko sa yo. But please makakadalaw ka naman diba?” she added.

Angel later replied to her comment, saying, “Omg ate sorry! Nandito pa ako sa Cebu ate! Visit kita agad.”

In a now-deleted comment, Kris expressed her love and gratitude to Angel—one of her closest friends in showbiz—and shared that her flight has been rebooked. “I badly need to go to Houston already,” Kris said.

Kris revealed in late April that she’ll be staying abroad for over one year for her medical tests and procedures. She has been battling an autoimmune disease since 2018 and has been diagnosed with erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer in March.
