According to a PEOPLE report, fans think the Grammy winner has been hinting about their split since her Eras Tour stop at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on March 31, where she replaced Invisible String—a heart-fluttering song about two soulmates—to a breakup song dubbed The 1, which “centers around a lost love and remembering what was once had.”
“Realizing why Taylor switched out Invisible String for The 1,” a fan wrote over a TikTok video of herself crying as the breakup track played in the background.
“Hold on ‘cause Taylor switched from Invisible String (a song about hopeful love) to The 1 (a song about past love) on the set list,” another one said.
“Is this why she switched Invisible String for The 1?” a Swiftie tweeted.
Entertainment Tonight reported on Sunday, April 9 that Taylor and Joe have split up after being together for six years.
An insider told the entertainment portal that their breakup happened “a few weeks ago," adding that it was “amicable” and was “not dramatic.”
The source said their relationship “had just run its course.” It’s also the reason why he “hasn’t been spotted at any shows."
The hit singer kicked off her Eras Tour in March in Glendale, Arizona, featuring tracks to represent her 10-album discography from the self-titled Taylor Swift to the most recent Midnights. It’s set to stop by Tampa, Florida next week.
