Maja Salvador announced that she is leaving Eat Bulaga after over a year of being a member of the "Dabarkads."

Maja's agency, Crown Artist Management Inc., announced that she will be leaving the noontime show, citing reasons for her upcoming wedding and the “uncertainties” involving the show, which they did not disclose.

Crown Artist Management would like to announce that with Maja Salvador’s upcoming wedding and with all the uncertainties surrounding ‘Eat Bulaga,’ she will be leaving the show for the time being,” they wrote in the statement.

They also shared that although becoming a Dabarkads is Maja’s “dream come true,” they have to “give it a pause” at the moment.

“This decision was already communicated to their management, so we’re hoping for your utmost understanding,” they explained, adding that Maja wishes Eat Bulaga, including its hosts and staff, “all the best.”

“Maraming salamat, Dabarkads,” they concluded.

The actress-host's final airing episode has yet to be announced.

Maja officially became a Dabarkads in 2021, she celebrated her first-year anniversary as its host last October. “Salamat po my @eatbulaga1979 family sa pagmamahal na binibigay niyo sakin. Sobrang grateful po ako! Ganito pala maging Dabarkads,” she wrote.

She first revealed her engagement with her long-time boyfriend, Rambo Nuñez in April 2022, and are set to officially tie the knot in July.
