It's always a bittersweet moment for celebrities whenever their teleseryes ends, as it entails saying goodbye to their co-stars who they have formed a close bond with during their show's long run.

That was the case for Kathryn Bernardo as she penned a heartwarming farewell message to her co-star Ronaldo Valdez following the television finale of their series 2 Good 2 Be True last Nov. 11.

Sharing pictures of Ronaldo and some of their moments together on her Instagram, the Kapamilya actress revealed that she had always wanted to work with Ronaldo, having been his fan for the longest time.

"I've been your greatest fan since Cedie and Munting Paraiso. Whenever people asked me, 'Sino dream mo makatrabaho?', my immediate answer would be 'Mr. Ronaldo Valdez'," Kathryn wrote.

"Fast forward to 2021, it seemed like God answered my prayer because you agreed to do this project with us. You probably have no idea how much it meant to me and how excited I was," she added.

In case you haven't watched it, 2 Good 2 Be True is a romantic comedy series that aired on Netflix and on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5. The plot follows the story of car mechanic Eloy, played by Daniel Padilla, who makes a terrible first impression on Kathryn's character Ali, who works for a real estate magnate. But both of them are hiding their true personas.

Kathryn confessed that she was nervous around Ronaldo during their first days together, but she gradually worked up the courage to bond with him until she found out the they had lost in common.

"I had no idea you were as matakaw and into sweets just like me! And ooops, pareho din tayong iyakin. God knows how much I enjoyed doing every scene with such a brilliant and genuine actor like you, Tito Ron," she wrote.

She went on to recount how the veteran actor supported her during difficult scenes and how much she appreciated their random talks together.

"You trusted me fully and I will always be grateful for that. You showed us who you really are behind the 'veteran actor' people know you as, and we just loved you even more," Kathryn wrote.

The 26-year-old celebrity became emotional as she shared that she won't be able to bond with him much following their show's end, but highlighted that that there are no goodbyes.

"The memories we shared for a year will always be in my heart. You know that I will always be hear for you, right? Kung makulit si Ali, mas makulit si Kath. I will always protect you and check on you (because we always want what's best for you)", the actress wrote.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you Tito Ron. You are the lolo I never had," she ended.

2 Good 2 Be True first aired on Netflix back in May and has a total of 130 episodes.
