Rejoice, Blinks! BLACKPINK is officially back next week.

In a tweet at midnight on August 8, Korean Standard time (KST), the K-pop girl group announced that their upcoming pre-release single is titled "Pink Venom" and it's due out on August 19, 1 p.m. KST.

The song's poster shows what seems to be pink-colored fangs of a snake, plus the title of the song in the same font color.

The upcoming track is part of their second full-length album, Born Pink, which is set to drop in September. This will be followed by their world tour, which will start in October.

According to YG Entertainment, the album's title "implies the identity” of the group “which is never ordinary and will exude a fatal aura." The music video for Blackpink’s new album campaign has been reported as YG’s most expensive and highest production cost to date.

The label also teased that there will be several group projects that BLACKPINK will take part in the second half of this year. The most recent was their standalone single titled "Ready for Love," which was released in collaboration with PUBG Mobile at "THE VIRTUAL" in-game concert on July 29.

Born Pink's launch comes two years after Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa released their first full-length album in October 2020.
