WATCH: BLACKPINK’S Jennie drops new single ‘You & Me’

BLAKCPINK's Jennie is out for a solo comeback with the release of her new dance-pop track You & Me this afternoon, Oct. 6.

The groovy track dropped under BLACKPINK's record label, YG Entertainment, and was posted on BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel and Jennie's account on music streaming apps.

In the performance video released alongside her new song, the K-pop star is seen showcasing her sleek and graceful dance moves with her back dancers in a room filled with smokes and spotlights.

Jennie wore black and red as she graced the music video with a variety of outfit changes and iconic hairstyles for fans to take inspiration from.  

Meanwhile, the lyrics are written in full English and tell a story of owning one’s heart and appreciating romance through the metaphors of “dancing in the moonlight.”  

The new single was announced two days before its release, and fans were eager to look forward to their Unnie’s comeback five years after her first solo track Solo was released in 2018.

Jennie, however, had already performed You & Me during BLACKPINK’s Born Pink Tour last year.
