ABS-CBN Entertainment unveiled the official poster of Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series starring Jane de Leon as the titular fan-favorite heroine yesterday, July 6.

The poster designed by Justin Besana drew attention from netizens, with eagle-eyed fans zooming in on possible clues and easter eggs for the series.

Netizens took note of the snake at the bottom foreshadowing Valentina, the silhouette of Darna between the ruins, and the structure of the ruins itself which resembles Darna's signature headdress, with some describing the poster as “Hollywood caliber.”

Together with de Leon in the cast are Iza Calzado who will be playing the first Darna and Narda’s mother Leonor, Janella Salvador as Valentina, Zaijian Jaranilla as the titular heroine’s sidekick Ding, and Joshua Garcia as police officer named Brian.
De Leon was first announced as Darna three years ago, but the series has faced setbacks and delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The actress previously posted a teaser video for the series on her Instagram page last May.
Based on the teaser poster's caption of 07.07.22, the full trailer of Darna is expected to drop on Thursday, July 7.
