Harry Styles to resume 'Love on Tour' in Europe and South America this year, still with no added tour dates for Asia

Grammy Award-winning singer Harry Styles will resume Love on Tour this 2022, adding new tour dates for Europe and South America.

The Watermelon Sugar singer shared the news on Twitter. “I’m so happy to announce that ‘Love On Tour 2022’ is finally coming to the UK, Europe, and South America," he wrote.

"I’m so excited to see you," added Styles.

With 32 fresh tour dates, the European leg will kick off on June 11 at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow, Scotland, and will stop at Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal on July 31. The South American leg will start on Nov. 20 at Arena FVG in Guadalajara, Mexico, and will end at Pedreira Paulo Leminski in Curitiba, Brazil on Dec. 10.

Styles’ tour—in promotion of his sophomore album Fine Line—picks up from last year’s final North American show in Long Island, New York on Nov. 28.

The European and South American shows were pushed from their original schedules in 2020 and 2021 in response to the health and safety protocols set in place for live events in the said regions.

No tour dates have been added for Asia, and no updates were made on other canceled shows, such as in Australia and New Zealand. Styles’ fans in other regions have taken to Twitter to react to their skipped countries. One Twitter user replied to the singer’s announcement: “This is me rn cuz you aren’t coming in Asia.”

Another tweet from Styles’ fan read: “It’s Harry Styles canceling his tour in Australia and New Zealand but making the time to tour elsewhere for me, guess we’ll just go f-ck ourselves huh?”

This year, the former One Direction member is also set to headline famed music and arts festival Coachella on April 15 and 22, alongside Billie Eilish and Ye.
