LOOK: Celebrities spotted at the baptism of Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola's baby
Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola's daughter Isabella Rose has been baptized.
The Christening of the four-month-old baby, affectionally called Rosie or Baby Peanut, took place just recently at Makati's Santuario de San Antonio Parish.
The actress shared some of the highlights of the affair in a YouTube vlog on Friday, April 28. It was appropriately floral-themed, in honor of "Rosie."
Rosie's baptism was attended by Luis and Jessy's closest family and friends. The public also took notice of the presence of celebrity attendees during the private affair, including former Myx VJ Nikki Gil, who is a confirmed godparent as seen in her custom "Ninang Nikki" candle. She posted stories on Instagram during the event and was also seen in the follow-up vlog posted by Jessy.
Actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga and her politician husband, Mikee Morada, also attended the baptism. "Mga kumare at kumpare ko nga pala! Ninang loves you, Baby Rosie," Alex posted afterward.
Veteran actor Edu Manzano made sure to attend the baptism of his granddaughter Rosie, as well as Luis' mother Vilma Santos and stepfather Ralph Recto.

In January, Jessy announced that she and Luis have welcomed their first child by sharing a photo of herself gently holding her daughter’s hand. “I never knew I could love like this,” she wrote in the caption of her IG post.
The celebrity couple shared they were expecting a bundle of joy in August through a vlog published in August 2022.
Jessy and Luis tied the knot in Batangas in February 2021 after five years of dating.
