Why Hayden Kho gave Vicki Belo a lavish Bentley for Valentine's Day: 'It's about time somebody makes your dream come true'
For this year's Valentine's Day, Hayden Kho had a very special and lavish gift for his wife Vicki Belo: an expensive Bentley Flying Spur, which is the last item on the celebrity doctor's bucket list.
Kho explained why he bought her the car in a YouTube vlog, saying it was because he wanted to grant Belo's wishes.
"You have been granting, fulfilling the wishes of so many people from people who are important to [those] who can't even do anything for you. You make their wishes come true like a fairy godmother," the doctor told his wife.
"I thought it's about time that somebody grants your wish naman," he added.
Belo said that even though the Bentley was her dream car, she couldn't buy it because she found it too expensive. The Bentley Flying Spur has an estimated price of P25 million. The idea for the gift came from their daughter Scarlet.
"Yung Valentine's, special siya pero of course may mga flowers lang, game. Na-freak out naman ako na nagkaroon ako ng dream car ko. So unexpected kasi kung may bucket list, 'yun na lang naiiwan sa bucket list ko. The car I've been wanting for so long pero everytime I look at it parang masyadong mahal," she said of the surprise.
"Before I would spend a lot of things on myself and sabi nga where our treasure is, there your heart will also be. I just want to let you know that you are my treasure and you deserve all the best," Kho said to his tearful wife.
Later in the video, Kho shared that whenever there's an occasion, he wants Belo to feel special through gifts or experiences.
"Normally, nahuhulaan niya [yung surprise] pero this time wala siyang clue," he said, adding that he usually doesn't do grand gestures on Valentine's Day.
