It looks like Vanessa Hudgens is feeling more and more at home in the Philippines as she was seen bonding with actress Toni Gonzaga in the actress' residence.

Toni took to Instagram to share a picture of herself with the High School Musical star, who has come to visit the country to shoot an upcoming travel documentary that explores her Filipino heritage.

"The Philippines loves you Vanessa! What a blessing it is to meet a unique and beautiful soul!" Toni captioned her post, with many of her followers showering the comments section with lots of love and admiration.

Netizens also began to speculate that Vanessa will serve as a guest in Toni's talk show on her YouTube channel, especially since her husband, Paul Soriano received the privilege of directing Vanessa's' passion project.

The documentary is set to delve deep into Vanessa's relationship with her Filipino mother Gina, who was born in Manila and chose to emigrate to the United States at the age of 25. It will also explore her relationship with her sister, Stella, who is also an actress.

Paul earlier expressed his elation in working with Vanessa on the project, emphasizing, "It’s inspiring to note that with everything she has achieved in life, she wants to discover her Filipino roots and pay homage to her mother’s country. Hopefully, this opens doors for many more collaborations to come."

During her stay in the Philippines, the Hollywood star had already accumulated lots of unforgettable memories, such as taking a morning hike in Palawan and getting to drink in the gorgeous view of the province as well as enjoying the refreshing waters of Pangulasian Island in Bacuit Bay, El Nido.

She was also conferred as a global tourism ambassador for the Philippines at the Malacañang Palace and shook hands with President Ferdinand Marcos and Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco.
