SEVENTEEN made the wait for their Philippine comeback worth it with their two-day sold-out concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last October 8 and 9.

The 13-piece K-pop group composed of S.Coups, Mingyu, Wonwoo, Vernon, Woozi, Joshua, DK, Jeonghan, Seungkwan, Hoshi, The8, Dino, and Jun performed in front of a spirited crowd cheering for their favorites from opening to encore.

SEVENTEEN, which is known for their fresh take on K-pop with a mix of hip hop, R&B, pop, and EDM, lived up to the label of "K-pop stage breakers" during their Manila concert. The group opened day 2 with a literally “HOT” number showing off amazing synchronization and stage presence.

SEVENTEEN, which is composed of three units– vocal, performance, and hip hop– also displayed their versatile expertise with unit performances.

The performance team showed graceful moves in their “Moonwalker” and “Wave” numbers. Meanwhile, the vocal unit made everyone swoon with their angelic voices in “Come to Me” and the crowd-favorite “Imperfect Love.” Too cool to be forgotten is the hip-hop team who flaunted their rapping skills in “Gam3 Boi” and “Back it Up.”

‘Filo Carats’ as their Filipino fans are fondly called, were treated to every SEVENTEEN fan’s dream with their idols performing a number of their hits including “Left and Right,” “Shadow,” “_World,” and the hype number “Very Nice.”

The crowd was so ecstatic to see and feel SEVENTEEN's contagious energy that everyone was singing and jumping from SRO to the GenAd section of the arena towards the end of the encore.

In their final messages, SEVENTEEN thanked the audience for their unwavering energy from start to finish. “The overall connection and chemistry we had today was really amazing. I just felt your genuine love,” says vocalist Joshua Hong. The group also assured their fans that they will be back as soon as possible. As vocalist DK promises, “Babalik kami ulit.”

The SEVENTEEN “Be the Sun World Tour Manila” event was made possible by Pledis Entertainment, Hybe, and Live Nation PH, in partnership with Smart Communications, Inc. and Viu Philippines.
