WATCH: The Internet is obsessed with Jenna Ortega's choreographed Wednesday Addams dance

It's pure Wednesday Addams in her element.

Netflix has finally released its highly anticipated series Wednesday starring Jenna Ortega and directed by Tim Burton.

The eight-episode series follows a teenage Wednesday Addams (Ortega) as she navigates a new high school called Nevermore, and the mysteries that come along with it.

With the Addams Family's offbeat dark humor, Burton's vision, and Ortega's fresh delivery of the classic character, it's quickly becoming a cult favorite among fans. And a certain scene is turning heads for its classic Addams feel.

In the fourth episode, Wednesday attends the Nevermore Rave'n Dance, their own iteration of prom.

Donned in her vintage black gown, she hits the dance floor with her own kooky and spooky dance number to The Cramp's 1981 song, Goo Goo Muck.

In a video of the Wednesday cast reacting to the scene, Ortega revealed that she had choreographed the dance number herself.

"I actually felt really insecure about this," Ortega shared. "I choreographed that myself and I think it’s very obvious that I’m not a dancer or a choreographer."

Other cast members enthused that it was their favorite scene from the entire episode, and the Internet definitely agrees.

Others have also gone on to make their own iterations of the Wednesday dance and share fan art of the now-iconic moment.

In a Tweet shortly after the scene went viral, Ortega shared the artistic inspirations she had to create the dance.

"Thanks to Siouxsie Sioux, Bob Fosse’s Rich Man’s Frug, Lisa Loring, Lene Lovich, Denis Lavant, and archival footage of goths dancing in clubs in the 80’s. Helped me out on this one," the 20-year-old wrote.

Meanwhile, Wednesday is now streaming exclusively on Netflix.
